Project Description:
Annihilation X: Apocalypse takes various game aspecs from different titles such as Jak II, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Doom 3 and combines them in there own generic way. I would really like to do the level design aspecs from Jak II (the no loading when you go to different areas but when you go through an airlock it makes all the textures and such go to extremely low quality to reduce lag and CPU usage) The level(s) will be extremely huge and when I say huge i mean at least 5 minutes to walk across or more; 10-15 for outer edge.
There needs to be at least somewhere around 30-35 missions to go through in this vast level and upgrade stations/shops/ammunition dumps/factories/vehicle shops all that.
Upgrade Stations will be used to go and buy upgrades for your weapons, such as Modifications like a scope for the machinegun or a clip fed shotgun, or a dark matter cannon for a plasmagun and so on. You can also purchase new weapons at upgrade stations as well or you may take the time to find them hidden throughout the level.
Ammunition Dump is a small factory like building that you can buy ammo from or you can just go around and kill other people with weapons to get their ammo but it won't be very much. You may find ammo hidden throughout the level but maybe only once a day and it will restock all your weapons.
Story takes place right after Doom 3 happened and you are on a ship to earth to recover from your incodent on Mars. You are sleeping in the ship and you wake up to find that it has crashed in a city full of poverty and that they had caged something in the cargo bay and now it's out. As soon as you realize that there ar people screaming around and running in circles is when you know something is terrorizing the city. Something along those lines but that's why we need a writer.
Most to all weapons will be completely custom but maybe with some aspecs of weapons from other games.
