Hey guys,
Was wondering if there was way to Organize the workshop forums even more. I can't seem to create forums within other forums. (ie, organize Forums into categories).
I also noticed that there is a 7000 character limit on the forums.
Is that per thread?
I understand that it'd be impossible to host unlimited amounts of data for free,
so I am wondering if there is a "Plantinum version" or something in which we could increase the storage data or give us powers for a full forum.

We are working on a Graduation project and this site seems to kick ass and offer all the right tools to get such a project completed as effeciently as possible.

Thanks guys,

Hi TeslasWrath, I'm glad you like our site. Yes, you can customize your projects' forums in the Workshop. Make sure that you have the correct permissions set for the user that wants to add/remove threads. You can do this in the workshop by clicking the Roles link in the left nav. Add the user to the permission group, and make sure they are set as a forum admin.

As for filesystem space, we are pretty generous. If you find that you have reached the initial 1GB limit, send me a message and I can set up additional space for your project.

Good Luck!

Thanks for reply,

Cool, I will check out that turbosquid tentacle as well.

bseaver: thank you, 1 GB is considerable, it was just a concern that came up during a meeting. I will definitely let you know.
I've set a handful of our team members as Full Admin but I still can't seem to create Forums within Forums.

What I was thinking for the forum structure was something like this:

-Announcements
-Art
    Environs
    Characters
    Structures
-Design
    Doc
    Level
    Programming
-Misc.

I was wondering if something like that were possible. As each thread will likely have several of the team keeping a personal thread so we can keep track of the actual work created per person so that they are accountable for their grade.Since this is our graduation project, we will be receiving a grade as a team and as an individual.
It's an OCD thing as well, since I like my directory structures certain ways and the compulsion hangs over me =-P
Upon second glance, as long as we stay active in moderating the posts and threads, we should still be able to keep it organized.

Also do you guys have a paid membership, or something of that sort that offered?
more bandwith,  more forum control and possibly scheduling tools (like those found in MS project or Open Workbench) we would be very interested in such a thing.
